Waljat College of Applied Sciences, is now associated with European Alliance for Innovation (EAI) (http://eai.eu) as a member of strategic forum.

EAI strategic forum constituted by leading institutions and professional bodies, which provide an annual strategic innovation agenda, innovation policy identification and proposition, set priorities to benefit innovation in higher education.

It also provides an opportunity to connect with key international players from business, academy and institutions. Through this alliance there is an opportunity of dissemination of knowledge through conference, summits and publication of research output in the area of interest of higher education.

Memorandum of Understanding (M.O.U.) signed with the SME Development Fund, Oman.

The College has signed Memorandum of Understanding (M.O.U.) on, 31st March 2015, with the SME Development Fund to promote an entrepreneurial culture on the campus of the college. According to M.O.U., SME Development Fund has agreed to run an introductory program on entrepreneurship to cover all students and support the formation of student entrepreneurship clubs by imparting best practices, hand-holding and networking. The main objective of SMEF shall be to facilitate the formation of campus companies by providing initial seed capital, networking and mentoring to the selected student run campus companies. The purpose is to encourage students to gain dignity of labor, gather work experience equipping them for careers in entrepreneurship or as entrepreneurial employees in the government and private sectors. The nominated member from the SME Development Fund shall coordinate with Dr. G.P. Mishra - Professor In charge Entrepreneurship Club for implementation of the program in the college. The above mentioned program is in accordance with the Ministry of Higher Education guidelines.

MOU between WCAS and Mazoon University College

MOU has been signed between WCAS and Mazoon University College on Benchmarking of various activities on 19th November 2015.


MoU with the British Council, Oman

An MoU for the Provision of Venue and Examination Services for the IELTS has been signed between the British Council, Oman, and Waljat College of Applied Sciences from 1st January 2016 to 31st December 2016. With this MoU, the Foundation Course Department of Waljat College of Applied Sciences seeks to point the F. C. Department students to register and avail the testing facility. We also seek to base part of our F. C. instructions (especially English) on the IELTS pattern so as to enable students attain a creditable band in the Testing System, which will also show a valuable proof of their language proficiency. With this proficiency, we aim at students getting a good language base in the Foundation Course.
