BIT, Mesra is a "Deemed University" under Sec. 3 of the U.G.C. act 1986. Birla is the Chairman of the Board of Governors. The Technical Council is responsible for the academic policies. Candidate can apply for student visa after obtaining the roll number and confirming admission.
11. What are the documents required to be submitted while applying for Student Visa ?
The application form for student visa is available with the Admission & Registration Department. The candidate has to attach a no objection certificate (NOC) from the employer of the parent (if working in Oman), copy of passport of the candidate, copy of passport of parent/guardian, four copies of passport size photo with blue background, medical report and visa charges as prescribed by the government of Oman.
12. What is the validity period of Student Visa ?
The student visa is valid for a period of one year which can be renewed.

The College has a number of activity clubs. Student can be a member of the activity clubs and participate in various activities.
